Writing Jobs: The Truth Behind The Money

Have you heard a lot of people earning tons and tons of money by writing on the web? Hmmm, it’s freaking everybody out especially those who have been doing online job and yet they are stuck with earning about $50-$100 a month.

I am going to share something to you that will really make your mind bubbles! This is a trade secret that not every other people out in the Internet know! So here it goes…

First, it’s all about cheap rate and volume. If you are going to compete with native English speakers or the Indians and you don't have superb English skills, then you have to go with cheap rate and volume. What good a $10 per article is? If you it takes ages for 1 article to be approve and it only happen once in a blue moon? Yes, 1 article is $10 is quite big and all you need to write is 10 articles to get $100 but you can get the same amount if write 50 articles in $100, rate $2 per article. Good news is client will be more willing to pay you $100 in one go and he gets 50 articles out of it.

You put yourself within the client’s shoes. For sure, you will be more willing to pay a writer who is willing to write 50 articles for $100 compared to getting 10 articles at $10 rate, right? You get more out of your money. This is the principle that has been swirling around the minds of those Internet marketers and web developers. The more, the merrier as they say!

Second is getting more clients to earn more money. How about if you earn $100 from one client, and another $100 from another client? What about 10 clients? You will have a whooping $1,000 in 1 month. However, you need to write 500 articles in 1 month. Can you keep up with the volume?

This is where the third secret comes into the picture. Outsourcing! Yes, you outsource your projects to writers who are willing to write at $1 or $0.75 per article. Be very weary though, you might end up getting crappy articles from newbie writers. It’s either you write the big volume of articles or outsource it to countries like India and Philippines. The choice is all up to you!

Writing is such a lucrative job if you do it the freelance way! You get tons and tons of clients left and right and you will get more money out of it. You will never get more money if you are hired by one client and you are bound to write 10 articles a day for 6 days a week and paid $250 monthly. You do the math, you will definitely get more if you have 10 clients compare to one client.

Homebased Jobs - The Risks!

There is no guarantee that you will have a stable income of $100 a month or $1,000 a month. There is always a risk that goes with homebased jobs that not all of those newbies and even the veterans know that risks do exist.

For 3 years, I have been into working for homebased jobs... I have learned a lot and have discovered the following risks:

1. Risk of not being paid - Yes, the most daunting and frustrating of all things is when you are not paid. You have worked a lot for the project or job and after delivery you will not be paid for it. This risk is something that you should have your eyes open for and have a safety net in case you will not be paid.

2. Risk of losing the job - Like any traditional job, there is always that risk that you will lose a job and therefore, a big chunk of money will be taken out of your pocket monthly.

3. Risk of being scammed - Scammers are everywhere, the Nigerian scammers or local scammers...wherever these scammers came from, one thing is for sure, they are there to get money out of you or use you for their advantage and never pay you at all.

Like in business or in any investment, the bigger money you put in the higher the risk is... but if all goes well... the bigger money you put in the bigger return of investment is. It is like gambling, just play the game and if you are a risk taker...then definitely, you will win a big pot of gold.

Are you a risk taker? Do you want to take chances? $500 is a petty amount, but if you know to play the game... you are just a step away of earning your first $1,000 and even $10,000 by just having a homebased job.
